Join us for an event that’s out of this world!
Strange and fantastic things happen when you team up Vince Ynzunza, director and producer of Pacific NorthWEIRD, and Sara Light-Waller, writer & illustrator specializing in Pulp Space Opera and Time Travel stories.
Vince will talk about the NW’s rich (and sometimes bizarre) UFO history. Sara will talk about Pulp Science Fiction and then do a reading from her new book – ANCHOR: A Strange Tale of Time.
Black Lab Gallery offers happy hour drinks and snacks for purchase. Free street parking is available. You can also park in the Everpark Garage at 2815 Hoyt Ave.
Join us for an afternoon of the WEIRD and the wonderful at the Black Lab Gallery in Everett.
Join me to support Independent Bookstore Day!
I’ll be at Book N’ Brush in Chehalis, WA. on April 27th as part of a special day of events to celebrate Independent Bookstore Day. We desperately need our local bookshops and this is a wonderful way to show your support. I’ll be signing copies of both Landscape of Darkness and ANCHOR: A Strange Tale of Time. See you there!
Join Sara Light-Waller, The Queen of New Pulp and Denise Kawaii, The Captain of Cyberpunk for a shared book signing in celebration of their two 2019 releases — ANCHOR: A Strange Tale of Time and Division, Book 4 in the Adaline series. See you there!
Lewis County is home to the original flying saucers!
In 1947, pilot Kenneth Arnold spotted some fast moving UFO’s near Mt. Rainier, WA. When he reported the incident, Arnold described the boomerang-shaped objects as “skipping” like saucers. The newspaperman decided to call them flying saucers in his report. History was made!
Chehalis, WA is celebrating popular history this September with the 1st annual Flying Saucer Party, a celebration of all things extra-terrestrial. There’ll be music, speakers, food, and exhibits at the Lewis County Historical Museum! Lucina Press is one of the event sponsors and I’ll be there selling books and artwork. Please join me for a big, out-of-this-world party in September!
